The Zimbabwe Hotel Complex near Harare engaged George Group as its exclusive EPC partner for a riverside, multi-building destination comprising a 12-storey hotel tower, ballroom pavilion, conference wing, and 150 guest rooms and suites. From concept sketches to hand-over, we curated a climate-tuned material palette—locally quarried green granite and white marble for statement surfaces, Italian porcelain tiles, energy-efficient architectural lighting, custom-woven soft furnishings, laser-cut stainless-steel screens, and water-saving sanitary ware—fusing regional character with contemporary five-star elegance.

Facing a nine-month programme that spanned Zimbabwe’s rainy season, our cross-disciplinary teams synchronised structural, MEP, and FF&E workflows. Components left our Foshan factories in staggered containers, clearing Durban Port and trucking to site just-in-time; daily video QC sessions kept approvals swift. All public spaces and guest rooms passed first inspection three weeks ahead of schedule, enabling a soft opening before peak holiday season. The resort now welcomes travellers with a refined, fully integrated hospitality experience—showcasing George Group’s end-to-end delivery capabilities across stone, tiles, lighting, soft furnishings, metalwork, and sanitary solutions.
